Another with @Kimberly Anderson and crew in Chicago. Lots of tension here with fresh honeysuckle and lychee, the fruit and oak are still battling it out a bit so I’d say this needs more time in bottle, but a beautiful expression of CA Montrachet style Chardonnay from one of the leaders.

Awesome Konsgard the JUDGE Chardonnay 2014 at end of year wine dinner with friends. Thanks big time HC! Great fruit and on trying reminded me of Grand Cru Withe Burg similar to Montrachet in there Best Years. Flavors of Coconut yep first time here. Layers of tropical fruits.,other flavors of peach and nectarine. I have this a 100Rating! Not the last one tonight! CB 2014 Vintage

Oak has integrated well. Very rounded, mix of oak notes, minerality, and fruit. Always a powerful experience.
