Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Fruity nose with black currants, blackberries, blueberries, sweet cherries, raisins, wood, light vanilla, earth, spices, licorice, cloves, leather, tobacco leaf, chocolates, mocha, coffee and black pepper.

Medium to full bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, black currants, wood, earth, green vegetables, beef jerky, spices, herbs, light vanilla, chocolates, dark coffee, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.

This is a nice Red Blend from Napa County. Not fully balanced yet, as it is still young, but already enjoyable, even by itself. Showing nice complexity and mouthfeel. Has a tangy ending that makes it interesting.

Would benefit from a couple of years in the bottle. Needs two hours to open up properly and remove some of the acidity.

I paired it with a cheese plate, fruits and crackers.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Zinfandel.

14.8% alcohol by volume.

88 points.

$23.

A nice blend, with a round, chocolate/cinnamon note I associate with pricier wines. Big, but easy drinking. About right at $21.
