Light garnet color with light violet undertones. The nose on this is so damn nice. Plenty of earth along with smoked tobacco and wild strawberry. Violets and mushrooms with an abundance of red cherries. Are we sure this is the entry level? Sonoma Pinot is kicking, yet again.
Really nice, unobtrusive acidity and balance. So much fruit to be found but never close to a fruit bomb. Medium bodied with a complexity that can be hard to find at this level. The palate is outstanding with notes of black cherries, more strawberry, and a bit of oak. A beautiful Pinot that’s ready now.
