Recently discovered Amarone and can't believe it took me so long. Fantastic, rich taste!

Dark ruby red with slight brickish rim. Big nose, but it took about an hour and a half decanting to unfold. Still young, aromas of wild berries, green forest, white and dark chocolate and freshly cracked black pepper. Very, very big dimension on the palate; seriously expands in the palate, providing multiple dimension flavors of forest wild berries, dark plum, eucalyptus, strawberries and loads of black pepper. Subtle notes of fine tobacco. Very broad and bright acidity. Great tannic structure that balances out quite well. Huge, endless finish, very spicy, lots of dark, tart plum flavors. 93 pts, but cellar this wine another 8 to 10 years at least.
