Not much experience with orange wine, so they are prominently featured on the restaurants wine list, I felt obliged to try one.
A pick from the Somm, this is a blend of Muscat Petit Grain & Muscat d'Alexandria from a winery in the Roussillon.
Quite clean on both the nose and palate without the obvious oxidative notes except for the hint of orange peel, yeast and hay. Medium body and medium to high acidity. Subtle bitterness towards the finish.
Not particularly memorable but not bad.
