La Onda
California Syrah Cinsault
Marriage of fruit rock and va. Leathery blue fruited and slightly tannic. Very much reminded me of Clos Saron deeper shade.

Aug 23rd, 2015This wine snuck up from behind, crossed the finish line in first place. I doubted. It's another Syrah... I didn't see it coming. Floored, shaken, impressed. Tiny production now and I'm sure the best is yet to come. Watch this space. La Onda!

Not technically a Lodi wine. The Cinsault is from Lodi, the Syrah is from the Sierra Foothills and the wine was produced and bottled in the Sierras, all adding up to a basic California AVA. #laonda #clossaron #cellarshare
