Paullucci Vineyards delivers a stunningly powerful Malbec. Loads of blackberry jam and current on the nose. Oak is evident and very well integrated. The tannins have grip but are very fine with a pleasing bite of acidity to keep the wine fresh.

I will admit, I did not eat with this wine, and that probably would have changed the experience immensely, interesting on the nose, jammy and tobacco, but then fell flat on the palate for me, a bit of pepper and a lot of tannins. With steak IF a next time.
