Another good (and underrated) wine from an unheralded varietal (also known as Uva di Troia) from the Puglia region of Italy. Dark purple color with ruby highlights. Concentrated nose and pallet of red/black berries and spices. Earthy hints of prunes, dates and figs. Silky tannins. Plush, concentrated, vibrant and bright. — 4 years ago
Wonderful wine, reminded a bit of Monastrell. Herbs and red fruits. — 6 years ago

Es muy rico, se siente profundo y dulzón pero no pesa la madera, aunque esta ahi. Si, hay frutas maduras pero lo rico es el vino, un malbec posta — 7 years ago
Full body with spice notes and hint of a dark fruit. — 8 years ago
Been hanging on to this for 12 years; yikes. From Jason at Solano Cellars. At La Posta in Santa Cruz. Not quite past it yet! But waiting for the character. Tight on nose, not too past it lacking perspective so far. — a year ago
Beautiful nose and very elegant package for a rare dolcetto w no added sulfites. This bottle went fast. — 3 years ago
