Clos d'Audignac Volnay 1er Cru Pinot Noir

A little reductive at opening but cleared fast to a just gorgeous elegant Pinot. So full of sweet wild rose. Opened up and so just everything I love in Pinot

Quite nice. Lacked just a little but happy to visit the archives for this one.

Showing its age but still very enjoyable

Tangy red cherry, some spice, a little lean but with precision, and showing fine but slightly bitter tannin on the finish.

Wonderful on the nose and flat on the delivery.

I told dad that he has to crack this when I'm around. It was amazing. Vanilla, strawberry and leather. The nose is great and everything was just perfectly executed when I drank it. Yum.
