Ladera is my go to cab. The high plateau is a great wine that never disappoints. It's a young 2011. Classic Napa style cab, pnp over a few hours. Currants and oak on the nose. Good medium bodied mouthfeel with gripping tannins. Definitely improves with air. I had some '98 5-6 years ago and it was sublime. I'm holding some '03 and '05 as well as some '06 Howell mountain magnums. Time will be kind to this vintage as well.

Christmas Eve dinner wine. Tight and still with full tannins. Could have waited a few more years. Tasted delicious! Love supporting Minnesota connected wineries.
