Touche-Mitaine Montlouis-sur-Loire Chenin Blanc

I've enjoyed the off-dry wines from Weiskopf but this dry one tasted more like Chablis than Chenin. Not that that's a bad thing considering the price!

2013 Montlouis. Light gold in color, exhibiting ripe peaches, honey, wet stone and orange blossom on the nose. Citrus, cream, and minerality shine on the palate. Finish is quite dry, and lengthy. Certainly softer and less vivacious then any Vouvray.

Wonderful Chenin Blanc. Attractive nose that is full of green apple, orange peel, and wet slate. Bursting with zippy acidity, the palate shows intense grapefruit, sour green apple, nectarine, fresh squeezed lemon and white pepper. Pair this with a herb crusted fresh chèvre and die happy.

Mandarin, grapefruit, minerality and a touch floral. Feels good, but so short on the finish

Racy and precise

Tart fruit, stone fruit, sour candy, minerals.

Sec et tendre, grande finesse et très aromatique, fruits divers primaires et secondaires, avec une belle minéralité en fin de bouche. Belle fraîcheur. Pourrais se conserver quelques années pour laisser évoluer les arômes tertiaires. Biodynamie. 30$
