Leeuwin Estate
Prelude Vineyards Chardonnay
2013 vintage - tasted blind against the current release Art Series (2012) - hard to seperate, apart from the oak being a little harsher in this wine - food for thought considering the $50+ price differential - these guys must have so much quality fruit that even the lesser wine is a stunner!

May 8th, 2015Strangely, this is the first time I can remember drinking this wine, having drunk so many vintages of the Art Series - whilst it has good fruit, I found the oak to be over-powering - probably unfairly tasted alongside the 05 AS!

Feb 6th, 2015JL Australian tasting 3/30/17. $34 not on list. Nose that's complex and balanced palate and very long acidic length. Excellent.

Nov 20th, 2015Excellent price point - value for money. Quality Chardonnay, well balanced and textured.

Mar 5th, 2015I'd definitely have this as an aperitif! Strong aromas, citrus, oak and cold butter. Nice acidity and long finish.

Feb 15th, 2015Very good Margaret River Chardy with honey smells & flavours - we just drank it with grilled mullet, home-made tomato salsa & crispy Barrett's ciabatta bread!!!! Try this wine - it's very good "value for money!"
Leeuwin Estate do it very well!
