Lenz 2009 Gewürztraminer is a terrific wine. Lychee on the nose, spicy palate, finishes dead dry. Great American Gewurz, bravo to the Lenz team on the North Fork for producing an Alsatian quality, food friendly wine.

Alsace-ian as best it can be growing in a coastal climate. This and their estate merlot are the only worthy wines this vineyard produces. Lychee, petrol/petroleum with a bit of KY Jelly (if u know what mean) white flowers, and a touch of honeysuckle. Interesting and keeps me coming back for more. 2007 best vintage I've tasted this far
