Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Amazing taste. More like a clementine orange peel than a mandarine.

Easter cab.

Cassis syrup, loamy earth and white flowers, mandarin orange skin. Rich and structured in the mouth with a bit more elegance and balance than I expected. I went into the glass expecting mammoth proportions and the nose confirmed. In the mouth the wine has confounded me in an intriguing fashion, more earth and grip than expected and quite dry, which is unfortunately rare in high end Cab. Second taste showed a lot more monomeric tannin and serious grip. A decade may be wise for this one to get those tannins polymerized...soften! Lovely wine though, impressive and taught me something.

Meh. Not that impressed. I think this needed a few hours to open up. Not sure if it was in that period between drinking well and drinking amazing. Just mediocre.

Wow was this still tasting young. I would even keep this a little longer. Still very yummy though

Notes of dark red cherries, blackberries, chocolate, coffee and cracked black pepper. This is a full body red with well incorporated tannins, though herbs and spice box dominate the predominant taste from the mid-palate through to the finish.

Has a certain flavor. Well balanced and very good

.09 Figgins is better

Little tight but opened up nicely.

Full bodied, fills mouth, smooth with no sharpness. Lingers with pleasurable hints of smokiness and dark herbal anise.
