Wow. A bit of a conundrum for me. The funky, earthy, nose is perfect. It lingers on the palate with the heat still evident and it stays a bit sharp through the finish. Others have said this has peaked, but I disagree. The wine is still rather angular. Will it soften or just cease to develop. I believe the former given the producer and vintage. So, I think a few more years will show a softening and mellowing of this bold and beautiful juice.
