Was not a fan of this at first, at all! Could not identify anything I enjoyed about it even with the recommended food pairings. The second night however it opened up a little and I did enjoy it more. Still I would not get this again and if this is a good example of Grenache grapes from the southern Rhône valley I’m not a fan.

Good, focused acids, spawned from a bright fruit onslaught, that continues the acidic edge straight through dark plum, black cherry, pomegranates, tri-colored pepper corns. Bargain price for this wine. Opened 2 hours.

A fantastic wine house, and had been for some time.
Raspberries and staves on the nose.
Medium bodied with Cranberry, pomegranate, thyme.
A perfect wine for a mid week tipple.

This is an absolutely crowd pleaser GSM out of the Côtes du Rhône Appellation. The composition of this wine is a blend of a very old Grenache at 75%, Mourvèdre at 15% &
Syrah at 10%.
All these grapes are sourced from Signargues, Cairanne and Rasteau, which have an eco-environment and well delineated terroirs from both banks of the Rhône River. Everything combined translates into an exceptional expression of Grenache-driven, rich, powerful yet subtle and generous on the palate with a compelling finesse and extremely balanced.
Hard to have only one glass, cheers!
