Nice ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

A pleasant earthy nose with blueberries, cherries, strawberries wood, licorice, vanilla, earth, vegetables, graphite, spices, bitter herbs, bell pepper, forest floor, smoke and peppercorn

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Dry and earthy on the palate with strawberries, raspberries, cranberries, vanilla, cloves, coffee, wet leaves, wood, spices, tobacco leaf, vegetables, bell pepper, graphite and peppercorn.

Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tart cherries.

This is a nice earthy Bordeaux red wine. Not completely balanced with mild complexity. Better with food than just by itself. Showing a tart finish with a nice mouthfeel and a bitter ending.

Not my style, but a good quality wine. This is my first 100% Merlot from the left bank. Not what I expected...

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Will age nicely in the next 5 years. Needs 90 minutes to open up properly.

13% alcohol by volume.

Vanilla, marzipan and cherry on the nose, with a hint of oak in background.
Relatively high acidity on first taste, but very smooth with soft tannins
