Very dense on the nose, thick with dark fruit, cedar, spice, herbs and oak. More herbal than expected on the palate (2011!). Just a baby, and wound up.

Bold rich smooth. All black and blue fruit with velvety tannins. Less opulent (chocolate and vanilla) than non-reserve. Leaner body than expected - either due to youth or vintage? Doesn't detract.
