California Pinot Noir

Another really enjoyable Pinot Noir. More body than expected. Nice leathery flavor with a hint of toasted nuts in the bouquet.

Line 39 California Pinot Noir 2017. Received this bottle in a vendor gift basket during the holiday season two years ago. No urgency to try but had low expectations. It was rich, dark & very fruity. Single dimensional; not complex, just not as elegant as I like (& appreciate) my Pinot Noir. On to my next bottle! Great weekend to all! Cheers🍷

Ok so this is probably one of the more generic wines I’ve purchased in a long time, but I’ll blame that on COVID19. With that said it was absolutely drinkable. Good casual wine, no real depth of complexity but tasted good.

Trader Joe’s. Light & delicious

Bitter smoke mid, ash end 😒

Berries on the nose. Berries and herbs with light mouthfeel and mild tannins. Nice with a moderately spicy sweet potato and chorizo skillet dish, but it also serves as a stand-alone wine before or after dinner.

$10.99 Kroger. Fairly smooth no aftertaste
