Loved this showing, a very classy and expressive wine, all finesse and complexity. Aging glacially, still so youthful in the glass, I could see this needing another 5-8 before fully relaxing. My favorite part about these wines is the texture and harmonious acid, which melds into the wine from front to back. There’s never anything overt, sharp, or obtrusive, and the transition the wine makes across the palate is seamless. Texturally engaging, theres well confined oak and phenolics adding dimension. Bergamot, ripe green apple, asian pear, green pineapple, lime blossom, damp chalk, button mushrooms, chervil, sweet tarragon, cream, a slight touch of spring honey.

As it warmed to room the temp the true character emerged. Wonderful weight. Acid well balanced and a finish that was mesmerizing. Can't wait to have this again sometime...
