2007 Beaune Ursules from mag is not a blockbuster, but definitely in its prime with pretty red fruits and a developing mushroomy, earthy character. 2005 Chapelle is youthful but starting to strut - sleek, expressive, cool black fruit with a minty, spicy note.

20 years. Well top vintage and vineyard. What to do you think? Back then already 150$. At its peak! Ridiculously refined. Cardamom plum nose. Tannins fully resolved. My wife says mellow. I hate this term. Faint cherry, Touch crushed marble, hint lime, green tea, …looses fruit and interest after 3 hours. Drink within 60 min gone later ——-!!!!!!

A zesty and primary red fruit nose. Good concentration. Noticeable wood but not out of kilter. Lovely balance. A touch sharp at first pour. Not showing much complexity straight out of the bottle but there's promise here
