Last night's wine we opened on my weekend journey in Burgundy was the 2017 Louis Jadot Savigny-les-Beaune Pinot Noir.
On the nose there is nice fruit, cherry, raspberry, strawberry, spice, herbal notes, menthol, oak and forest floor.
On the palate are beautiful rrd fuit notes of tart cherry, raspberry, strawberry, red currant, clove, spices, oak, minerality and earth.
This wine is medium bodied with medium + acidity and medium + fine tannins that smoothly move into a medium to long red fruit and earthy finish. Let's continue to have a wonderful weekend and even though we seem to be on the precipice of moving out of this pandemic please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷
