A classic, elegant Sancerre, both steely and juicy. Grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit, lime, flint and rather subdued herbaceous aroma and flavors with a bit of cut grass. Long and very clean finish. It’s a wine you definitely want a second glass of.

Mid palate shows gooseberries without the tartness. Finishes soft, but still has focus, albeit somewhat blunted. Certainly idiosyncratic for Sancerre - Jean Georges Nougatine.
