Aromas of wet grass and slate. Strong mineral tastes with a small influx of cherry. Medium to high acidity. Good length. Needs time to open up and breathe.

An absolute gem. Perfectly blended, feminine, harmonious and beautiful.

I thought this wine would offer up happiness in a bottle - nope. Astringent, unbalanced, flat on the mid pallet. The best thing this Rhone blend had going for it was it's color - but that only goes so far.

Purple tinged ruby. Flowery, violet Syrah-like nose. Very young, fresh fruit. Vibrant indeed, crunchy cherry fruit. Grenache with some Syrah and Mourvèdre in concrete. Not very typical CdP but good.

Medium ruby in color; blackberries, plums, dried herbs, and baking spices on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like lavender, blueberries, dark chocolate, camphor, graphite, and clay pots with a long finish. Even more complex after an hour long decant. I love this wine. Paired well with a steak. Nellie liked it with steak.

I had the 2013 and was so worried that it would be terrible due to the challenges with that vintage. But this was YUM! Dried strawberry and lavender. Delightful. Aged well.

Dark garnet in color, black cherry and cedar on the nose. Dark fruit, baking spices, and hints of leather. My only choice for a decanter was a blender, so just did a pop and pour. Fairly hot- 14.5% ABV. Will be good with grilled ono. Hanea Beach in the background. Our view for the next few days!
