Macedon
Pinot Noir
Dark ruby in color with light intensity and a light purplish rim.
Barnyard nose of blueberries, plums, flowers, oak, licorice, light vanilla, spices, earth and peppercorn.
Light to medium bodied with medium acidity.
Dry and Earthy on the palate with plums, blueberries, cherries, cloves, licorice, oak, vanilla, dirt, barnyard, spices and peppercorn.
Medium plus finish, with firm tannins (a lot for a PN) and bitter almonds.
A Nice old world Pinot Noir from Greece. Funky nose, but nicer on the palate. I Enjoyed it by itself, but will be better with food. A bit bitter and tart on the ending, for my taste, but drinkable now.
Still young and needs a couple of years to chill in the bottle, though.
13% alcohol by volume.

Not bad for a $10 wine. Lacks nuance and lacks fruit forward.
