Gave this a good long decanting. A pretty decent nose. Some dark plum, dried flowers with some meaty undertones. Firm tannins and moderate acidity.

Needs time. Very tight and high strung. If drinking young, you will need to decant it for a healthy length of time. Definitely a riper, more new world style of Ermitage, but spectacular with lamb and lightly charred beef.
