Atrevida Mendoza Chardonnay

Bright and tangy with a lemon and lime zest! This was a really refreshing Chardonnay from Mendoza, Argentina!

Nice light butter and oak, smooth finish, med acidity

2014v. Light gold color. Underripe green or yellow apples and yellow pear on the nose. Pear, quince, and a little lemon citrus on the palette. Faint traces of oak give a little more body to the wine but the fruit is front and center. Good shot of rounded acidity with a clean finish. A new world wine made more in the fashion of the old world. An easy sipper on its own and a good complement to food. 13.5% ABV.

I'm still figuring out Chardonnays that I like but this is a buttery Chard from Total Wine that my partner and I like a lot. It's decadent and light at the same time, perfect for the end of summer.

Crisp and light. Would buy again.

Light melon flavor with a hint of raisin or current.
