It's interesting how the work and touch of a master almost always comes through in the wine. There is a confidence in this wine, a strength, a well-thought out perspective. Of course it tasted good too.

Herbaceous entry with allspice and game meats, bramble and maybe a little seashell. A little heat on initial taste that dissipates quickly. A really fun wine drinking superbly in its youth.
