Ognostro Aglianico

Give it lots of air and it rewards. Such an intriguing wine. First time I had it, all I could see was tamarind, soy sauce, olive, meat. Decanted it big time this time round and you can add some deep seated black cherries to that. And oh, super inky! Finish was rather short though. Acidity was also super weird. Straight out of the bottle, the aglianico acid was apparent and then it disappeared (unbalanced almost, old almost). All in all, a pretty rewarding drink.
