A nice and fruit forward Rhône blend from California.
Showing red and black fruits with earth notes chocolates, tobacco, vegetables pencil lead and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.
A little bitter on the ending once it opens up.
Good right out of the bottle and gets earthier as it opens up.
15.5% alcohol by volume.
88 points.

The 2015 Flux, Mark Herold's entry-level red , is bold, juicy and inviting. Super-ripe red cherry, rose petal, mint and spice are all pushed forward in this racy, succulent wine. Dollops of Mourvèdre and Syrah round out the blend. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2018) $24
($24.00)

I was hesitant to post this bottle. The group of people that consumed it... like it.

Jul 17th, 2016This GSM blend is BIG. Lots of dark fruit up front with a floral finish. It has been a while since I’ve had this and it’s even better than I remember. Phenomenal for the price.
