Mark West
California Pinot Noir
California, USAFor an inexpensive wine it's not bad. A little harsh, but overall good flavor.

Mar 17th, 2020Consumed 01/2020. The grapes were fermented in small tanks with daily punch downs to extract color and flavors. Pressed lightly, the wine was then aged in French oak for approximately six months before bottling. Red and black cherry flavors abound with a note of spice from oak aging.

Jan 24th, 2020The aroma was had a mild black pepper smell. The flavor reminded me of chocolate-covered cherries. I can undestand some people comparing to cherry coke but not as sweet.
The color was a nice dark maroon.
The last taste was the same as the first.
