A big thanks to Marko's Vineyard for sending over this same of their 'oakless' Chardonnay. While drinking it, it just made me think of the beach and all the glorious seafood that I should eat with it. Marko's is a new wine label from the Adelaide Hills, you can't miss it with the bright orange branding! Currently there are 2 wines in the range, a Sauv Blanc and this Oakless Chardonnay, both selling for $324 a case online, or $27 per bottle.

It's a crisp clear pale lemon colour on the eye with a slight green fleck. While on the nose it has a lovely freshness of apples, pear, pineapple and a touch of mint leaves. On the palate it's definitely a new age Chardy, extremely fruit driven with no oak (obviously!) and notes of white peaches, crisp apples and hints of grapefruit come through. A lovely touch of quince at the end of the palate leaves you on a sweet & sour note. Lovely and way too easy to drink!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds (and my mums too for this one!) #TCWeekdayWine #markosmoments #markosvineyard

Crisp and citrus fruited with notes of green apple and wet rock like character. Mean acid drive and carrying
