White Cap. Nose is wide open with much slate and citrus. Engaging lime notes, salt and crushed rocks. Some green apple skins as well but really overtly mineral. Gorgeous purity. Palate is also wide open with huge acid, huge wall of flavor action and profound density yet nimble as only dry riesling can do. So juicy and mineral and unreal inner mouth herbals and faint apple fruit and loads of dry extract. So clean and shockingly open. Outrageous. So balanced and unreal purity. Now this has a soaring nose of slate, white flowers and apple. Stunning. 9.7 nose. Now enormous concentration, grip and structure but has lost som finesse. I think it roars back tomorrow. Stunning on day 2 and gained all that finesse and more! Wow. Saline and limey with top notch finesse and a silken texture.

Hard to follow 08 Cristal Rose but this did and boy did it show well after some mild reductive notes to start with. White Cap. Gorgeous confectionary nose and ultra finesse. Nose had a psychedelic tropical confectionary bazaar. Sick. The silky texture and seamlessness of the palate was something.

MM are serious Rieslings and i love them. This Aus is dry and totally not fucking around. I rarely get to enjoy a whole bottle. Need to fix that.
