Really enjoyed this and looking forward to tasting again tomorrow. High tannin and oak, red fruit, and spices. Balanced and holds on for a bit. Tasty for only $10.

Well balanced and full bodied. Solid tannin character with interesting spice and earth notes. A little lacking in fruit flavors, but I find this to be the case with most Rioja I’ve had.

Dark fruit like plums, a bit of tobacco, spicy oak. Body is not as full as I expected. Soft tannins, medium long finish. Pretty good with some smoked pork BBQ.

Good! Would get again definitely. Light but still flavorful. Good cork. As it opened, hints of dried fruit but not too overpowering. Year probably made a difference in drinkability (2013).
