Full red fruit essences with a hint of earth and subtle cured meat and earth on the nose... The intensity of the nose doesn't match the body of the wine... Subtle almost silky tannin leaves a medium minus body but the searing alcohol masks the medium plus acidity... With a tad more balance this wine would show really well.
