Mastroberardino
Nova Serra Greco di Tufo
Continuing the theme of older Italian wines… I’ve had this Greco lying around for a while and tonight it seemed like something I should open with pesto pasta. After 15 years, this once steely lean wine has fattened into a wonderful saline butterscotch concoction with lemon rind. But there’s also still a fantastic petrichor quality to the wine that brings me back to the glass.
