Seriously killer juice. So perfumed and delicate on the nose; violets, charred earth, red fruits. The palate is very layered; baked and dried fruit. Blackberries, plums, leather, unlit cigar tobacco. Firm tannins provide a great backbone, yet somehow the wine is weightless. 10 years and going strong. My favorite Taurasi.
