Having visited the Matchbook, the nose immediately takes you back to the fields overlooking Zamora. Graphite on the nose with a surprisingly smooth finish, pair with sea salt caramel dark chocolate and this wine punches above its price point of $12

Not a terrible wine, but way outside of what I normally drink...or enjoy...or recommend. COVID has limited my quality wine intake. Certainly manipulated, heavy oak, lack of any varietal characteristics. That being said, perfectly drinkable, just don’t ruminate on it.
