Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity on the nose with blackberries, blueberries, earth, forest floor, pencil lead, licorice, beef jerky, smoke, oak, vanilla, cedar, eucalyptus, herbs, spices and peppercorn.

Tart on the attack, and on the palate, blueberries, cherries, raspberries, pomegranates, vanilla, tobacco, spices, peppercorn, herbs, light Cola notes, beef jerky and earth.

Medium finish with soft tannins and sour raspberries.

This tempranillo is good with food but not so much by itself. Unbalanced, but with nice complexity. The nose reminds me of a $15 Cabernet blend from California.

Better after 15 minutes, but as it opens up, it becomes tart, and looses its tannins. Not my taste, but it is drinkable.

13.9% alcohol by volume.

Aromatic nose. Fruity but lacks structure. Probably better with food.

Interesting wine - Tempranillo grown in California. Almost drinks like a wine from the Pacific Northwest. Decent value for the money.

Had the last of a day old bottle. Pretty punchy vanilla and spice but not much depth. Would like to try again.
