La Bégou Corbières Grenache Gris

This was a.......surprise. The server said it was kinda rare and fun. He was right. It was light and very drinkable with notes of honeysuckle and crisp peaches - but with a roundness that satisfies. Corbieres/Languedoc one my faves. No wonder.

Pretty tasty stuff although only mid-weight this year - 2014

Rond plein un peu sphérique en milieu de bouche avec des beaux arômes presque terpéniques en finale

Waxy honeysuckle and peach. Needs air. Drinking much better now than when I coravin’d 3 months ago.

Attaque pleine avec un côté suave et sucré puis terpène épicé finale ultra gourmande mais avec une belle acidité

Waxy, mineral. Perfect with Zuni chicken
