This was an exceptional bottle and a great reminder of what a special and unique gift these are to the wine world. Outstanding stuff - NV — 4 years ago
Dusty on the outside but pristine on the inside. I’ve tasted this a handful of times over the last 15 years and it’s developing at a glacier-like pace. Still bright in colour and long and structured with red and blue fruits foiled by herbs and some stemmy notes. Classic Allemand and my favourite of the ‘90s along with ‘94 & ‘99 - 1995 — 5 years ago
This was a super fun flight of three blind Macvin’s with the 2009 Labet being the pick for me. Round and soft with ripe stone fruits poking their heads just above the brandy notes. A tasty trio to chat and joke over at the tail end of a entertaining evening - 2009 — 4 years ago
This was a pretty thrilling flight to dive into. All had plenty of character but the 2003 was a revelation and an outstanding effort from such a challenging growing season. So beautifully poised and lithe - 2003, 2000, 1997 & 1996 — 4 years ago
This was densely packed and immensely concentrated yet impeccably balanced. In many ways it felt like 50% classic white burgundy blended with 50% Hermitage Blanc- 2012. — 5 years ago
This was a delightful pair with the Ferreira having an extra level of complexity and grace. So perfectly matched with an frosty winters night - 1963 — 4 years ago
We’ve been loving the ‘13s and 14s from Valette and this was a beauty! Supple, textured and super complex - 2013 — 4 years ago
This was quite delicious in its supple California-meets-Loire-meets-Burgundy kind of way - 2014 — 5 years ago
This was super fun and Uber-slurpable. Silky and sultry Pinot Noir from Fred Cossard made by Fan Fan. Good times - 2018 — 5 years ago

This was exceptional. Undermade in the nicest sense and simply the most delicious hillside Sauvignon one could hope for on a warm beachside evening. I can’t help but feel that Didier would look down with a warm smile and a heart full of pride - 2017 — 4 years ago
