Jun 10th, 2015Very, very nice classic Napa Cabernet...in the best way possible. Had not had Mayacamas before and was excited to try this, and it delivered. Might have guessed an old world Graves if blind. 12.5%, super balanced. Green pepper and some good medicinal notes. Long finish with really excellent acid keeping everything lifted. Definitely ready to drink and really nice.

Jun 8th, 2019On one word this bottle was dead. No fruit or body. The wine was well stored and the cork was excellent for the age of the wine. This does happen.

Jun 1st, 2019From magnum. So fine. The way you want Cabernet to age when you put it into the cellar for a couple decades and then one night decide to rip the cork. No questions, no fears. Mayacamas goes for the long haul. We all know this, it’s just refreshing to have the reminder.

May 4th, 2019'93 magnum. Had more than enough acidity to cut through the short rib brick it was served with.
