Sometimes you just need a pizza and a great Zin. Check, check. First time with the Scarlett Zin. Floral hints on the nose, surprisingly, and one of the lightest colored zins I can recall. The palate is more true to form, bringing a wave of full bodied fruit. Long, plush finish. Gets better and better in the glass.

2013 very rich, dark berry, spiciness from alcohol, almost too rich for me but well balanced, definitely jammy
