So the thing here is the low price. Delectable says $18 which is just impossible. I know its 6 years old. And it hasn't added much with age beyond its straight ahead med bodied red fruit profile. It's got a little bit of astringency which isn't endearing. But I don't need secondary flavors for $18. Wow!

This is a wine that was recommended to us at a local wine shop. It's a good Oregon wine but not our favorite. It is a bit too spicy for our general drinking style. It did go well with a perfect steak tonight but would not drink it otherwise. The finish it far better than the initial taste.
