Great after seven years. Still a good amount of acid and tannins in this one. Had some of the similar tones of a Bordeaux but not much on the vegetal side. Pretty fruit.

Sour cherry, spice, soil, a little milk chocolate. Dusty cherry palate, not much oak present, moderate tannins, acid middling. Medlock Ames always delivers.

Pretty good. Definitely a full bodied, ripe dark fruit California red. Hate to say blackberry jam, particularly after letting it sit open, but not a criticism here. Balanced body, nice finish.
