Meiomi means "coast" in the language of the native, coastal dwelling Wappo and Yuki tribes. Ruby color with aromas of jammy red fruits and oak with floral notes, from a number of sites in CA, aged in French oak barrels for six months. On the palate flavors of raspberry and strawberry flavors with lightly toasted vanilla oak notes, cacao and black pepper. Vivid acidity, fine tannins, good balance on medium finish ending with earthy character. Good value, drink now.

This is not a sweet wine. It is very smooth and does not have a bite. Thoroughly enjoying this wine while I wait for my order. Will definitely be buying this Pino

Complexity, length are there, but if you were expecting a classic Pinot you would be disappointed. The intense jammy fruit puts it out of balance. This wine shows why Pinot Noirs should remain in cooler climates.

Okay, rather sweet. 2021 in The Keg, Ottawa. I’d try a different Pinot next time.
