One of Melville's Monopole Wine Club bottlings, the Block M Clone 115 is the same clone they use for their Indegene Small Lot Collection wine (though I don't know if the Indigene is from Block M). A really complete wine in it's own right, it lacks some of the complexity of wines like Terraces or Block M, but it's fascinating to drink because it gives you some insights into where some of the flavor components of those other wines come from. Really enjoyable wine.

Dec 27th, 2015Delectable is identifying this incorrectly, it is the Block M 115 clone, which is quite different for the Santa Rita Hills Pinot. This is an amazing wine with a nose that is deep and complex, with cherries and cranberries and clover and a palate that is long and velvety. Best wine I've had out of the central coast. What a Thursday night!
