Opened this 2 days ago and was not impressed. Too acerbic - not sure if it was VA or just out of joint - but it was not drinking well. What a difference after two days. Has lost a little in terms of intensity but is in such better balance. Classic SRH aromatics of sour cherries, spice, and a hint of candied stawberries. Balanced and persistent through the mid-palate with a nice, velvety finish. Wasn't expecting this to improve so much after a couple of days, but if you have one of these I'd recommend decanting for a few hours before serving and you will be rewarded!
