Two bottles, first one slightly corked. Second one in good condition. Peppery saffron, deep floral notes, almondpaste, grilled carrots, anise and wet pebbles. Low/soft acidity and a long, peaceful finish. Great wine.

On the palate this is very broad, intense and complex, yet full of finesse and detail. Saffron, pepper, hazelnut, mango and rocky-mossy-riverbed-kinda minerality.
Miani's always very special, but a bottle at age 17 is rare, extraordinary and truly memorable...
