Hazelnut, brioch, spiced plum, candied orange, honeycomb. Quite decadent.
Cherry, kumquat, more candied orange with layered notes of brioche and marzipan. A bit less acidity than the other Champagnes we opened, but still plenty to balance the rich fruit and autolytic qualities. Comes across as blood orange and raspberry.
Full and lush on the palate with candied fruit and nutty, toasty notes. Delicious, especially if you enjoy a richer, red fruited Champagne as I do.
